Khurram Mohammed is the CEO of AUSSTAG Solutions and a cybersecurity leader with over 15 years of experience across government and enterprise sectors. He has led major initiatives in cloud security, risk management, and compliance with frameworks like ISM, PSPF, and Essential Eight.
Previously supporting national defence and critical infrastructure programs, Khurram brings deep expertise in secure system design and cyber governance. He holds a Master’s in Information Systems Security and certifications including CISSP, CRISC, and SABSA. At AUSSTAG, he drives secure, scalable, and compliant solutions for complex client environments.
Khurram holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems Security and a suite of industry certifications, including CISSP, CRISC, and SABSA. His leadership continues to shape AUSSTAG’s mission to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions that enable client success in an evolving threat landscape.
Mo has supported high-stakes operations, including secure systems implementation, Essential Eight compliance, and advanced threat detection. His recent work with Legal Aid NSW included leading phishing simulation programs, endpoint security controls using Airlock, and incident response leveraging tools like CrowdStrike and Proofpoint TAP.
Mo served over 11 years in the Royal Australian Air Force, where he provided cyber governance, secure communications, and compliance with ISM and PSPF frameworks. He has also been recognised as a vulnerability researcher by several federal agencies, including the Attorney-General’s Department and Australia Post.
He holds a Master’s in Cyber Security Engineering from UNSW and multiple cyber certifications, including ISMS auditing and vulnerability assessment. At AUSSTAG Solutions, Mo continues to play a key role in securing client environments and supporting resilient, compliant operations.
